Applying for Admission (Getting Started)

Students wishing to continue their education through the IDEAL program at UB must submit the following:

Application for Admission:

  1. A completed application for Admission.  Click on "Apply Now" below to print an IDEAL application form:


  2. Official transcripts from all previously attended post-secondary institutions. A high school transcript, proof of completion of high school, diploma, or GED if you have less than 30 post-secondary credits.   Click on "Transcript Request Form" below to print the proper form:

  3. A non-refundable application fee of $50.00.
  4. Apply for Financial Aid if you need assistance paying for tuition.
  5. Register for classes:

NOTE: To be considered official, transcripts must have the original seal of authentication and the signature of the Registrar. Personal copies are not considered official. When requesting transcripts, please have the school include both your maiden name and married name if applicable. [Open and Print Transcript Request Form]

Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis.

Admission Requirements

Students who are likely candidates for admission into accelerated learning may have from 3 to 5 years of full-time post high school work experience. Generally the minimum age of students entering the IDEAL program is twenty-three years.
