Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
The B.S. in Business Administration, offered through the IDEAL program and the School of Business, meets the same high standards of the traditional BS program with the added benefit of accelerated courses. The BSBA is approved by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) one of the two organizations in the United States that accredits business schools and programs.
This major provides breadth in all areas of business; management, marketing, accounting, computer applications and information systems, economics, and finance. The business courses are designed with an emphasis on real-world practice and academic theory. Case study work is used frequently to give students a way to measure success of implementing their learning. The Business Administration degree provides highly motivated students an advanced standing into UB’s MBA graduate program.
