SUMMER ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION POLICIES

Who Can Apply:
You may enroll in the UB Summer Session if you are:
- A new student and want to enrich your life or advance your career;
- An undergraduate student wanting to advance your academic standing at UB;
- A graduate student seeking continuing education and research;
- A visiting student seeking to gain credits toward a degree at another college;
- A teacher who needs to earn credit toward renewal of a teaching certificate or receive an advanced degree in education;
- A person in a professional field who wishes to advance your knowledge and skills.
How To Apply:
Individuals in the community and new students who are not enrolled at UB must submit a completed UB Summer Session Application Form with applicable fee(s) to the UB Summer Program Office in the School of Continuing & Professional Studies.

Application Deadlines:
Session I: Monday May 5, 2008
Session II: Monday, June 30, 2008

Application Fee: $50.00, which is nonrefundable unless the class is canceled by the Summer Program Office.
Visiting Students: Undergraduates applying for admission to the UB Summer Program should obtain assurance from their universities that credit for the courses taken in the UB Summer Program is eligible for transfer.

Auditing or Non-credit courses: Those who wish to audit a course (receive no credit) or take non-credit courses are automatically accepted into the Summer Program upon receipt of application, tuition, and applicable fees.
COURSE REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER COURSES
Registration for Summer courses begins April 1st. Please register according to the following methods:
- Telephone the Registrar's Office (203) 576-4635. Your student number and credit card information are required.
- Mail a completed Registration Form to the Registrar's Office, 126 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06601. Payment must be included and be received 7 days prior to the start of class.
- Visit the following Administrative Offices:

DROPPING COURSES
A student wishing to drop a course(s) must complete an Add/Drop form and submit it to the Registrar's Office. Add/Drop's are not accepted by telephone. Tuition refunds due to changes in course schedule or a Drop are mailed to the student 14 days following receipt of the credit. For tuition refunds please refer to Tuition and Fees.
