Teacher Track

The teacher track of the iMSIT program servers those involved in primary, middle, and secondary schools, and in higher education.

This track provides qualification to meet the three ISTE/NCATE endorsements in Educational Technology:

• Technology Facilitation (TF)
• Technology Leadership (TL)
• Secondary Computer Science Education (CSED)

The teacher track emphasizes:

• Utilization of technology in classroom settings as an adjunct to traditional pedagogical methods.
• Standards-based assessment and tracking via technology.
• Synchronous/asynchronous instructional delivery outside of the traditional classroom.

All courses in the teacher track are aligned to the ISTE NETS standards for students, teachers, and administrators (See http://cnets.iste.org).
