Accounting

The Accounting Department is responsible for development, maintenance and administration of the University's accounting system. This department is responsible for the areas of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash management, investments, debt management and grant accounting.

In addition, this department plays a key role in the preparation of the University's annual financial audit, periodic financial reports and the implementation and maintenance of accounting controls. The Accounting Department ensures compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
