"I was a professor in the College of Education from 1967 to 1974 and, for nostalgia purposes, I would love to hear from my former students."

Donald Ivanoff, 1983, BFA, is director of alumni relations at Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, N.Y. He writes of a UB rush during a visit to Nashville:
"Imagine My Surprise! Recently, my wife Denise and I went to Nashville, Tennessee for some well-earned rest and relaxation."
"Nashville is filled with odd tourist attractions, including a Charlie Daniels Museum. Imagine my surprise to see, on the center of a wall of concert posters, a poster from the CDB’s 1980 performance in the Harvey Hubbell Gymnasium. $5 a ticket with UB ID. Those were certainly the days."
"I wonder if today’s students know that UB was once a major stop for touring musicians and that the Harvey Hubbell gym hosted groups like the Stray Cats, Cyndi Lauper, The Motels, The Greg Kihn Band, The Outlaws, The Marshall Tucker Band, Little River Band, Spyro Gyra, Pat Metheny Group, Harry Chapin (several times), and a host of others. I know that UB was a well-respected place to perform by the early 1970’s and that the hits kept coming until at least 1985 (when I lost track of what was going on)."
