Teaching Philosophy
"As an educator I believe that we are responsible for creating a college community actively engaged with every single student. This requires a caring and energetic pedagogy so that each one can learn in a creative context. Each student’s work deserves the benefit of our respect, our kind attention, our informed skill, and our critical evaluation. We must guide our students through an living engagement with both subject matter and strategies, encouraging them to take advantage of all opportunities for continued academic growth."
