Interlibrary Loan

The library is happy to provide 24/7 access to our electronic resources through our digital library. If a book or a journal article is not available at the Wahlstrom Library you can request an interlibrary loan using the ILL Request Form.

ILL services are available to currently enrolled students, faculty and staff for course-related or other research purposes.  We are not able to request materials that we own.  We also cannot ask for current textbooks or recreational reading.  We can only fill ten requests per person per week.  Obtaining material via ILL can take from 10 to 14 working days, so plan accordingly.  Most materials are available for free, although, if there is a charge for a requested book, including dissertations and the requestor is responsible for assuming the cost.  All articles will be delivered to your bridgeport email account in pdf format.

Before requesting material on ILL, please search our Eureka! interface to verify that it is not owned by UB.  If you have trouble searching try using our Eureka! search guide, or contact a reference librarian at reference@bridgeport.edu.  If you have any questions about ILL, please contact ill@bridgeport.edu

The library does not photocopy books/articles or forward electronic articles that we own.
