UB Email & UB Net Account Help
A UBNet account is available to all students and faculty. With a UBNET account you can:
- Create a yourname@bridgeport.edu email account
- Access the UB online library databases
- Register online
- View your course schedule and grades
- View a course roster (faculty only)
To create a new UB Net account:

Select "New UBNet Account" on the left
- NOTE: You will need your UB ID number to set up a UBNet account - if you do not know your UB ID, contact your academic department or advisor (faculty can also find their ID number on their paystub).
To login to your UB email:

- You must wait 24 hours for your email to be activated
- You must be registered for a course for your email to be activated

To forward yourname@bridgeport.edu email to your personal email: Login to your bridgeport.edu email, click on Options--UBNet Account Management--Forward Mail, type in your personal email, then "Save Changes"

Library
The Wahlstrom Library provides access to a wide array of digital library resources available 24/7 with your UBNet ID to aid you in your research needs including databases, electronic journals and our innovative search technology Eureka! that allows you to search multiple databases at once.
The library also acts as your technology support net. You can contact a reference librarian via email at reference@bridgeport.edu or phone 203-576-4747 during hours of operation for personalized help using Blackboard or library resources. We also providing search guides for databases such as Ebrary a collection of 35,000 digital books. Other services include physical drop in sessions for help and a series of student workshops.
